When you install WordPress, one of the first things it will ask you is whether you want to make it a static page or a list of blog posts. The latter is the default option. But, if you want to change your homepage, you can easily do so by changing its settings. To do so, log in to your WordPress Dashboard and navigate to Settings > Reading. Scroll down to the Front Page section and select the desired page. Once done, save the changes.
From here, you can select the default home page. This is the page that will show when someone visits your website. However, if you’d prefer to make your blog the default home page, you can also select the latest posts option. Finally, click on the blue “Save” button to change the default home page. That’s it! Your homepage is now set! It’s as easy as that. You can easily change it anytime you want.
To change the home page, you can either add a block or remove it. You can do this using the customizer available in each module. Alternatively, you can use the customizer to change any post or page in WordPress. Branding is important when building a new website, so you can add your own logo or image to your landing page. You can then change the text and images on that page and publish it.
