WordPress.com login requires a username and password to register. When you want to change your password, you can use the email address you used to register. If you have forgotten your password, WordPress will send you an email containing a special link to change it. Make sure to check your SPAM folder, and if all else fails, contact a WordPress expert for help. You can also write down your password or use a password manager like LastPass.
To reset your password, you need to know your username and associated email address. Enter your username and email address and then click on the link on the password reset email. Make sure to check your SPAM folder and delete or mark spam as an unknown email. Your email address must be registered to your WordPress account. Otherwise, the link will land in your trash folder. This process will take a few minutes. After that, your website will not work.
Once you have entered the url for WordPress, you can create a bookmark for it. To add it to your browser, go to the menu section of the dashboard. Click the star icon at the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. A modal window will pop up. Select a folder and click the “Done” button. This will bookmark the login URL. A keyboard shortcut to open the bookmark is Ctrl + Shift + O.
