How to Log in to the WordPress Dashboard

If you’re not sure what to do after you install WordPress, you can start by going to the WordPress Dashboard. This is the backend area of your WordPress website and provides an administrator with control over everything from the appearance of your content to how you add and manage plugins and themes. You can also add your default administrator email address to your username, if you wish. Upon logging in, you will see six items on the dashboard.

To login to the WordPress dashboard, go to the WordPress control panel and choose “Add New” on the left-hand side menu. Enter the user’s details and choose a role. The super admin has access to all administration tools on the site, while the administrator can edit individual posts and edit the entire website. If you want to make the WordPress dashboard login more secure, consider adding a password. Otherwise, you’ll be logged out of the dashboard, which is a very common error.

Another option to avoid being locked out is to enable the “Remember Me” feature on your browser. This feature saves the login credentials in a cookie, so that you can access them again without logging out. However, remember that cookies don’t last forever. They depend on your computer’s settings, and you may need to enable them again before you can continue using WordPress. However, some web hosting providers also offer an cPanel control panel with their WordPress hosting packages. This is a useful tool for system administration, resource monitoring, and managing your web hosting environment.
